MagLatch 9/40 10/45 is a fixed magazine compliance device that converts your firearm out of the Bullet-Button Assault Weapon status without permanent modification to your lower receiver. It is an economical solution for those who's AR 9/40 10/45 isn't their first or only AR. Takes less than a minute to install and there are no modifications to your firearm. MagLatch is unobtrusive and quickly reversible.
Fits on most lower receivers dedicated to 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm, or .45 ACP glock style magazines:
- NFA C-9 & C-45
- KE Arms 9mm
- Looking for test and evaluation of uncommon pistol caliber carbines such as the Nordic 9mm lower. Contact us for more info.
WILL NOT WORK ON: Spikes 9mm lowers, Quarter Circle 10's.
Please note: You may or may not want to purchase a standard magazine release. Once the bullet button shroud is removed there will be a slight gap surrounding your existing magazine release.

MagLatch devices have not been approved by the DOJ. This device was designed to conform to the law as written in SB-880/AB 1135, which defines “fixed magazine” to mean an ammunition feeding device contained in, or permanently attached to, a firearm in such a manner that the device cannot be removed without disassembly of the firearm action. Thousands of units have been installed and tested under the law. Multiple authorities have authorized use of our device. Since DOJ refuses to release an opinion letter we are unable to claim it is DOJ approved.
