MagLatch MP5 is the only fixed magazine compliance device for HK 94/MP5 SD/MP5 Clones with or without a paddle style release. Bypass California's Assault Weapon Registration with MagLatch MP5 or use to make your new purchase compliant. Completely drop-in, no modification needed! The device installs and reverses as fast as you can field strip your MP5.
MagLatch has two modes; Ban State and Free State. While in ban states top loading or loading through the ejection port is recommended for fastest reloads. When traveling to free states disassemble the action and rotate MagLatch MP5 to the appropriate setting.
Your MP5 must have the OEM magazine release components in order for MagLatch MP5 to work properly (note, most manufacturers included the OEM magazine release components with your MP5, check the case.): Magazine Release Button, Magazine Catch Roll Pin, Magazine Release Paddle Contact

MagLatch devices have not been approved by the DOJ. This device was designed to conform to the law as written in SB-880/AB 1135, which defines “fixed magazine” to mean an ammunition feeding device contained in, or permanently attached to, a firearm in such a manner that the device cannot be removed without disassembly of the firearm action. Thousands of units have been installed and tested under the law. Multiple authorities have authorized use of our device. Since DOJ refuses to release an opinion letter we are unable to claim it is DOJ approved.
