MagLatch has two modes; Ban State and Free State. While in ban States use of the MagLatch Gas Port Plug converts your shotgun into bolt-action. When traveling to free states disassemble the gas system and remove the MagLatch Gas Port Plug and reinstall your gas piston puck.

Please note:
- Certain 12GA shotguns manufactured by Legion USA will require the use of our VEPR Gas Port Plug. If your Saiga 12 does not have a threaded piston stopper (gas adjustment screw #9) but does feature a removable gas tube be sure to use the VEPR option.
- Saiga 12 model works with or without a reliability kit installed.

MagLatch has not been approved by the CA DOJ. This device is designed to conform to the law as written in SB-880/AB 1135 which states: “Semiautomatic” means a firearm functionally able to fire a single cartridge, eject the empty case, and reload the chamber each time the trigger is pulled and released. Further, certain necessary mechanical parts that will allow a firearm to function in a semiautomatic nature must be present for a weapon to be deemed semiautomatic. A weapon clearly designed to be semiautomatic but lacking a firing pin, bolt carrier, gas tube, or some other crucial part of the firearm is not semiautomatic for purposes of Penal Code sections 30515, 30600, 30605(a), and 30900.
