With MagLatch installed your firearm is no longer deemed an "assault weapon" by restrictive states. Our kit installs nearly as fast as you can insert a magazine. Our compliant device converts your firearm bypassing assault weapon registration requirements. We're the first and only device on the market to easily reverse. That's right, you can go in and out of state compliance by simply separating the upper/lower receivers and removing the F.N.G.R. Perfect for competition shooters who travel to restrictive states or vigilant citizens behind enemy lines. Zombie Apocalypse? Martial Law? Revolution? We're the device for the job. MagLatch conforms to all requirements of SB 880/AB 1135 and NY Safe Act. Most restrictive states follow the same requirements but be sure to check with your local authority before installing our device.
MagLatch has two modes; Ban State and Free State. While in ban states top loading or loading through the ejection port is recommended for fastest reloads. When traveling to free states disassemble the action and remove the MagLatch device and re-assemble.

MagLatch devices have not been approved by the CA DOJ. This device was designed to conform to the law as written in SB-880/AB 1135, which defines “fixed magazine” to mean an ammunition feeding device contained in, or permanently attached to, a firearm in such a manner that the device cannot be removed without disassembly of the firearm action. Thousands of units have been installed and tested under the law. Multiple authorities have authorized use of our device. Since DOJ refuses to release an opinion letter we are unable to claim it is DOJ approved.
